The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (IRA) is located on the second floor of Bowles Hall. We accurately and objectively compile, analyze, and deliver information about the Alcorn State University community to internal and external constituencies. Aligned with the university’s mission, the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment provide reliable data for evidence-based decision making.

Mission Statement

IRA’s mission is to provide accurate, timely, and meaningful data to University decision makers, the Alcorn community, and external stakeholders in support of institutional accreditation, strategic planning, and program evaluation.
